Hi guys!  I've enjoyed Crafster for a couple of years now and finally crawled out of the shadows to share.  I did this painting 6 years ago as a gift for my brother and his now "ex-wife".  It was graciously returned to me after their nasty divorce.  I'm so tempted to  paint horns and a moustache on her!  Anyway, thought I'd pull it out of the closet and get some unbiased opinions.

Very nice.  I say paint over it.   Cheesy

Maybe you have a knack for predicting the future.  Can you paint me a winning lotto ticket? Grin Grin Grin

its really good. i assume you based it on one of their wedding photos? i love the shading in the hair and you really seemd to capture the emotion (from way back then). dont paint over it its a good piece of art! but i guess if they are divorced what ARE you gonna do with it. hhhhhmmmm. conundrum.

Great painting - sad ending.  Undecided

I say keep a photo of the painting and recycle the canvas.

I'm not sure how into you want to get since you obviously know the couple, but it would make a great starting to piece to a series narrative on divorce.

That is a great painting, can you maybe change the hair colors or something simple and pretend that they're someone else?

Very sweet. I like the expression and the color in it.
I'd say keep the original unless it makes you realllly uncomfortable to look at it - can you pretend it's people you don't know?

You could play around with a high resolution scan and alter it in your computer.
