I have some really nice wool that I want to make some cut off gloves / mittens with. The wool band asks for 7mm needles. The tension thing for a 10cm x 10cm square says 10 stitches x 16 rows. Does anyone know of any patterns that I could use? I have small hands so patterns for young teens would be suitable.

Also I have 10 x 50g balls. After the gloves/mitts which I think will only take 2 balls or so, any ideas for other projects? I don't really want to make a hat and I don't have the patience to make a scarf. I dont have a photo of the wool at the moment but it's sort of like a twist of 2 yarns a rusty colour and a multi coloured yarn. Very autumnal and gorgeous!

the progressive gloves pattern (scroll to midway, in the Hands Up paragraph) teaches you how to make gloves or mittens with your own gauge. Smiley
