I had this orange bag pretty much done and finished it up today.  I really like the pattern.  It's by sweet 'n sassy - the drawstring bag.

The colors are off - the lining is really a crayola red.

Setting all those grommets took a while!

This is possibly one of my favorites so far.  Its a "sew easy" pattern.  I made the pocket insert for it, but can't take credit for the idea.  A woman I work with made this bag and made the pockets - so I copied her!  Grin

Sorry for the icky photos!

Comments always welcome!!

Great bags, I love the colors!  The "pockets" for the second bag is so cool!  Never thought of using a ribbon on the end to keep it together!  You really did a great job on both bags!

Thanks for sharing!

Thank you everyone!  Grin

The Sew Easy pattern is #5151.  It's a simplicity so easy pattern.  At my JoAnns they are on a rack, not in the drawers.

Great job on your bags!  I order and just received the sweet 'n' sassy drawstring pattern and am anxious to start!  I was a bit disappointed though that there aren't any pattern pieces to cut or trace from.  I am fairly new to sewing and I am hoping this isn't too difficult for me!  Any advice?

It was actually very easy to do - just time consuming.  The pieces are all rectangles, so they are easy to measure and cut out.  I don't think you will have any trouble with it.  Make sure you post a picture when it's finished!  Grin
