I have been working on a harness vest since last night and finally got one that I liked. He was pretty annoyed with me after all the fittings so that's why he won't look at me/camera. He is about 10-12 lbs.

The underneath is dollar bill fabric as is the leash clip thingy. And right now it is being held together by industrial strength velcro plus I ironed it on too (I couldn't sew it, it kept gumming up my machine). This was the 5th version try on, he was not amused! But 2 hours later and he still has it on, yay!

What ya think???

I really, really need two of these for my fat doxies!  I never can find anything to fix just right.  You need to make them and sell them.  This one looks REALLY good!

Thank you. He is cute but he's a nasty little booger! He is set in his own ways and if you dare disturb him he will bite (not that it hurts, lol)

I looked at a bunch online before I decided to make it, I didn't like the fact that most of them were so wide around the ribs when he is so small to begin with.

Aw, so stylish!

If you want a little more security at the closures, you can add a plastic buckle on a bit of webbing, like this:

(That's my rabbit's harness.  He wishes it wasn't rainbow teddy bears, but alas.)

It's still completely adjustable, and won't irritate his skin.

Thanks determinedimprovisation, for this one I was mainly trying to get the fit right, and after it worked thought Humm need to better the neck closure, and since it was for my own I was thinking of just putting a snap on that way I could mark it on him  Grin, it's so much easier to customize your own stuff!

Your bunny harness is cute and colorful!  My MIL has a bunny she is trying to give us but DH says NO! He is like a little puppy, he sees you and runs right over! I wish he would say yes Smiley

Aw, but bunnies are the bestest!  They're not quite so cute when they dump over their litterbox or nibble on your furniture instead of the multitude of chew toys around the room.  Roll Eyes

Is that from the hillary duff collection from McCalls Pattern Company? I bought a pattern similar to what your pooch has on.
