a very unoriginal topic
but I love them
and it came out okay for it to be my first time:

I turned some flare jeans:

into some skinny jeans while watching Joe Strummer:

so they don't fall down anymore after wearing them for 2 hours
I added buttons to the waist, so that I don't wear a belt that day
and they start sliding down
I just fasten the buttons on the sides
If that makes sense?

They look great! Re-use rules! So did you sew both sides of the legs? Are the buttons on the waist of the pant?

Makes perfect sense -- ages ago some styles of jeans would have strap with a claw buckle to do the same thing - you could cinch them up through the day.

These rock and the buttons totally make sense. I can wear jeans for about an hour, and no matter how much they shrunk in the wash or anything they start to slide down if I'm not wearing a belt. Genius idea!

Cool!

Could you post a picture of the buttons you added to the waist? I am really curious to know how that works, because I hate belts but my pants are always stretching out and falling down!

Thanks so much!
I feel like a jerk that I didn't reply soon enough
I wanted to wait until I could take a picture of the jeans
but I can't find them!
I know weird.
I left it them in my gym locker
and they're not there anymore.
I know they're probably somewhere
but I'm going to make other skinny jeans with some black dress pants
and I'll show you how it looks then.
sorry
and thanks!
