I finished my version of Lelah, done in seed stitch, instead of lace cuz I was too timid.  But now that i finished, really want to try another one, but with the lace this time. 
I did this one in Lion Brand Cotton Ease in popsicle blue, which is basically turquoise.

I finished Lelah #2 in off-white/cream Sugar&Cream with a halter top. I will take pictures and get them up here soon. I can't believe I pulled off winging the halter part and getting it right on the first try!

Here's my saucy French Lelah....



I used Phildar Onde in Volcan (J'aime Phildar!)  It's been discontinued - quite a shame!  It's a silky soft cotton/acrylic blend that slowly changed from one color to another - I found it nice to work with.

I added a couple of lace repeats to lengthen her a bit.  Then I sewed in small pieces of hem tape onto the wrong side of the fabric at the bind off edge and attached ribbon straps to them - for a little extra support hehe

I lerv it totally and completely.
