There are directions on how to fit to gauge by doing a swatch to calculate the number of st. You can use ANY yarn you want, so long as you figure out the gauge! Good luck!

i used two skeins of rowan calmer (cotton/acrylic blend) in coral. and i looove the finished result Cheesy

I love the color! It came out great,  hubba hubba!, I'm going to have to do one with the Rowan. Cotton would be more appropriate summer-wise!

ok, this might be a stupid question, but in Row 1, what is the first 1?
1: *1 P1, K1, YO, K2, sl 1, K2tog, psso, K2, YO, K1, P1*.

That's a typo, I better take it out. Forget the 1 in front of the p1, It's jusdt *p1, etc.

yeah, it took me about 10 hours over two days. i get obsessive when i start a project haha
the rowan was lovely to knit with and it should be nice to wear when it gets hot!
