It was really yummy.  I also made some plum sorbet with cinnamon, ginger and saffron!  But sadly the plums are gone but now my 3 apple trees are pumping out the fruit.

I've never had an abundance of fruit to use up, but at home there would always be a ton of zucchini that everyone had, and the joke was you had to lock your car doors, not because someone might steal your car, but because you might get a bag of zucchini left in it. This sort of thing doesn't happen now that I've moved to "the big city" as my mom calls it, but your situation made me remember that. Good luck with your plums, and that tart looks delicious.
