Here is my second poppet, Pepper. I did her hair differently than my first one, and I think I like it much better. I did it in a circle around her head, then two rows vertically down the middle, so I could put her hair in pigtails.

Here she is with her sister, Rainbow Sunshine

Let me know what you guys think!

Very cute. Both of them. I love red pepper!

Part of the big feet thing is that the feet are closer to the camera. And facing the camera. That is something I learned when taking baby pics. We were told to try to move the bottom of the shoe so it did not face flat at the camera. In that case the parents want to see the face of their little angel.

Thank you everyone!

Pepper's feet did turn out a little bigger than they're supposed to, but oh well. I still love her!

I'm planning on making a themed set of poppets. Wizard of Oz or Wicked themed. What do you guys think? Any ideas on how I might make wings for a flying monkey poppet?

My first poppet was a rabbit so I intentionally made her feet big.

I posted on the BIG poppet thread but there is also some links to tutorials somewhere. Eliea probably knows.

One of my poppets has wings, so I might be able to help. I made his wings out of plastic bags and pipecleaners, then sewed the ends directly onto his body and sewed a piece of material over it. I forget if the flying monkeys have bat-like wings or feather covered wings, but either was it should work.

Hope that helps, ask if you need more details. BTW, Pepper is adorable! She looks like she's got some sassy attitude, and that's awesome~
