So Im in a book binding class here at FIT as an elective! Weve made 4 books so far. Two with 2 types of basic pamphlet stitching, and these two which I think are japanese stab stitch binding... one is a regular one, and one is tortoise stitch. I dont have pics of the first two, but theyre very plain and basic, with green canson paper as a cover and printer paper as the insides.

Oh but theres three! Cause I figured if Im making so many books, I should make them for people! So the blue one is for my mom, brown alligator one for my dad, and then my sister was left out - so I made her the nicest of all. The music one.  The blue and brown one just have printer paper insides, but my sisters has the music note paper thats on the front part I added so she can title her book. Oh and theres the same type deal on the inside that says "Book made for Melissa, Love Mandy, 2008" Smiley

Not too shabby for first trys I think! What do you think?

I like them. I would like to learn how to do this myself.

The binding and texture of the blue one is great! It looks like clouds.
