Everyone is right: You did an awesome job on the dress, the style fits your body perfect and that color looks so good on you! And you're right, unless you tell people about the pieces you left out, no one will ever know! I do that ALL the time! Kudos!

I think that is fabulous! I'm in agreement with everyone, great color!, great color on you!, great dress!, and you look great also Smiley

Congrats on your first dress, I've only managed to make one thing that was wearable and that was a super easy circle skirt everything else has been utter failures! A lot of that is I lose all patience when it comes to sewing. Fantastic dress!

Okay so once again I am completely redoing my pictures. Got tired of photobucket, the only reason I used it was for here so I decided I will just use Craftster's photo uploader. So while I am switching over my photo links will be broken. Message me if there is a post you would like the pics for.

Man, Im not used to the internet being so kind! ha!  Thank you so much for making my day.  All of you!

In addition to sewing, I also have this new obsession:  I drive to far-away Walmarts in search of 1$ yard fabric.  I have a new Walmart mapped out for today.

Sew sew sew!

You look wonderful and the dress is perfect!  Don't give another thought to your "modifications"!  The end result is just fantastic.

without a doubt, excellent job! what are you planning on doing next? and have you thought of trying prints? i think with your coloring any deep hues would be lovely, like kelly greens etc
