Okay so I saw this pattern on ravelry: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/mesh-skull-cap

and I immediately wanted to make it. I havent crocheted all summer... its more of a fall/winter thing for me. yesterday i saw some golden yellow leaves on the trees and wanted to match it.

its perfect for this time of year because its mesh (its still pretty hot down here in atlanta), but its still september! i cant wait for all the fall/layering/boots cuteness.  so i made this.

i ended up not following the pattern because i got totally lost so I just winged it. i think it turned uot pretty good.

ok im rambling. here are the pics!

rockin it with my yellow bag i got from bonnaroo...

let me know what you think!

Aw, this turned out well.  I've tried several times to do something like this but mine always end up kinda funky at the top, but it looks like you didn't have that problem, your top looks nice.
