Thats right ladies and gents. Grab your buckets of fake blood and get ready to paint the town red! If the neighbors talk about you behind your back because you decorate your house more for Halloween than for Christmas this contest is made for YOU! I want to see the creepiest, goriest, most macabre front or back yard that you can muster. This is an OUTSIDE contest so let your freak flag fly high and proud!

I am currently looking for prize donations that are HALLOWEEN themed. This can be creepy candles, gothic jewelery, spooky purses or bags, and anything else that makes you howl at the full moon. Please PM me for details. Feel free to brainstorm on here for good ideas (got a good recipie for fog juice? know the best place to get a strobe light?) and share the love.

ENTRY DATES:
CONTEST OPENS 5 OCT
CONTEST CLOSES 31 OCT
VOTING DATES 1-7 NOV
VOTE HERE: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=276764.0
(Dates re-aranged so submissions end on Halloween due to popular demand!)

Happy Haunting!

What was that you said Igor? You want me to post the prizes that the craftsters who go bump in the night have contributed so far? Well, I guess thats reasonable.

From PinkyK:
A Creepy Dismembered Finger from her etsy store. Perfect for your ever growing appendage collection:

From TrentSketch:
His new book Horror 101: The A-List of Horror Films and Monster Movies, Vol. 1 from Midnight Marquee press.  It covers 110 horror films in 101 essays written by horror fans all over the world.

From CreativeChick8:
An absolutely fang-tactular necklace from her etsy store Soundwave Jewelery!

From limperatrice:
A gift certificate to her etsy store! Trust me on this one folks. You will fall head over heels for the models on her page. *ahem* Lips sealed Cheesy

AWWWWW!
I so want to enter this - but we do our yard up on the 31st and it all comes down that night - we have wayyy too much money tied up in it to leave it unattended  (too many people would just come and help themselves to it)

Could you guys consider bumping back the entry dates to Nov. 1st?? I'd love to enter this but we never have the yard/house fully up and going until Halloween, some of that stuff just cant sit out for 2 weeks, it would be ruined/stolen! And I know I'm the second post that's saying this already.

Her new book

His. His new book. Wink

Not that it matters, since I intend to win it back anyway. I play to win and plan on busting out every crafty house haunting trick and technique I can muster to do so. I've already expanded the plans to better cover the yards under consideration.

That's right, people. Yards. Three of them. Best one gets submitted. I'm anticipating my house being that choice, though I might surprise myself with my brother's house or, the dark horse super-crafty happy-hands-at-home possibility, my grandmother's house and pick one of them instead.

I'll even try to level the playing field, as I'm moving past the obvious fog chiller choice this year:

My personally developed and tested fog chiller rig lovingly detailed in step by step exposition here. It makes a very big impact when used properly. But that decision is up to you.

And, the other essential resource: The Halloween Monster List.

Holy cow Trent, belly up to the bar- lol! The fog machine tut looked great, I think I will have to rig one up this christmas. The lady who used to live in our house hated halloween and would pretty much throw bibles at trick or treaters so this year I have to make a blinking light that says "GIVES GOOD CANDY! WILL SCARE YOUR CHILDREN!"

 Cheesy
