When I see all of the fantastic pieces on here by my fellow Craftsters, I almost feel silly posting something so seemingly insignificant...but, I digress!  Here's an apron I made (from a pattern, no less...I'm not brave enough to design/modify clothing  Shocked).  I do love this fabric, though, and I've already made a bag with it, and likely will keep making things with it since I have an entire bolt!  Here are the pics:

**Here's the bag posted:

My mom joked and said I could wear the bag while I was cooking with my apron on, so I'd coordinate while I cooked! Hee hee!  Grin

Thanks for looking!  Cheesy

When I saw your adorable bag from this fabric I was hoping to see more stuff made from the bolt.

If I had an apron that cool, I'd actually wear it, an therefore save myself the hassle of staining and even ruining my clothes from not wearing an apron while I cook. Yes, you have inspired me to make a pretty apron.....

too much inspiration and not enough time *sigh*

It's wicked! I love the material - it's gorgeous.
Speaking of apron / bag combos, just this week I had a flash of inspiration. I was making a basic shopping bag tote for a new colleague, then she invited everyone for dinner. Ah!, maybe she wants an apron instead, hmm. So I picked up the bag and it looked just like an apron top, so as any sane person would do, I made a reversible bag that when you reversed it a little skirt dropped down and by jingo! It's also an apron. Absolutely genius I thought. My colleagues, although impressed by my creativity, did point out to me that when was the last time you were on your way to the shops and just NEEDED an apron! Yup, can't say it's ever happened to me. That stumped me! Anyway, she thinks it's cute (me too) and it fits her really well! I can't post yet, so braces yourselves ladies and gents! xxx
P.s. got the craftster awe too. (surely they'll just laugh at my wonky stitching and even wonkier ideas!)
