its going to be totally awesome when your grandma's walking down the street in that sweater and someone familiar with the band gets whiplash doing a double take. Smiley

Then we should feed our jewelry to the sea
For diamonds do appear to be
Just like broken glass to me.

haha that is awesome. i actually know exactly what you mean about finding a suitable logo. i'm making a chart of the same alk 3 logo currently for a scarf (not advanced enough to make sweaters quite yet, partially because i need a bit of instant gratification haha). i also tried to use knit pro 2.0 but the images i found just didn't come out right on that so i'm just going to make one myself.
yours came out sick though.

**they're actually touring now, i'll be at the roseland ballroom show in NYC on the 14th of october and possibly one of the shows in philly as well. their site has the full schedule.

Do you happen to still have the chart you used? Would you be willing to share it, pretty please? I told my boyfriend I could knit him a scarf with that logo on it for Christmas but can't for the life of me get a chart to work. Yours turned out perfectly, I am so impressed and envious! The whole post is hilarious, your grandma is seriously too cool!

I'm seeing Alk Trio again at the Orbit Room in Grand Rapids in November!!!!

That's sweat that your grandmother took your sweater off your hands and actually wears it.

I'm not going to lie though, I started LOLing when I saw the coffin, I know it was probably in bad taste, but it was a little funny...

It's really a very nice sweater - very well done.  You probably don't want to make another one in your size so that you and your grandmother can wear them together!   Smiley

Your grandmother looks like a real sweetheart.  My mom would have worn a sweater like that.  I have pictures of her wearing my hiking boots, with Cleveland Indians baseball players, etc.  Got to love relatives like these!

HAHAHAAHAH  you're grandmother is an absolute bad ass!!! and i mean that is the best sort of way. What a hip lady. And the sweater looks adorable on her. I hate swatches too because I'm so impatient..but here is yet another reminder why they are necessary.
