I decided to make a gown for my son's Bar Mitzvah. I decided to make it because the modest options out there are just not options at all . Well this gown was going to be the end of me i must of fit it 100 times. In the end i liked it but it was tight across the back once i added the sleeves. I used a basic new style pattern and added length and sleeves. I couldn't decide do i love this gown or did a cupcake throw up all over me.
** I added a tut on my blog on how to add sleeves to a pattern because a few of you asked***

Wow.  I think it's great, even if you had fitting issues.  The neckline is so beautiful and complex.  I tell you, the last thing I think is "modest", which is usually my first thought with snius clothing!   Grin

I think it's lovely! You look wonderful! And no a cup cake did not throw up on you. Unless it was a very sophisticated and classy cupcake. Wink I'm sorry it was such a pain though. I can only hope I can make a dress that lovely someday.
