So I saw the bathina bag and fell in love! http://www.burdastyle.com/patterns/show/3825

I decided that DD had to have one. Also it looked pretty easy and doable for a baby stitcher like me. Smiley I started this bag on Tuesesday evening and would have had it done that night but I messed up and sewed the lining in backwards and had already trimmed the seams down and had used a really short stitch length to be able to rip out the seams, so I had to scrap it and start over.  Roll Eyes I tried again Wednesday night and actually sewed the pieces together the right way!  Cheesy By then I was tired and finished off the handles yesterday. I used one of my machine's fancy stitches but it didn't like the thickness so I had to help it feed which made the stitches uneven.

I used fleece in place of the felt to I could wash it since it does belong to a two year old.  Wink The hardest part by far was cutting out the handles. That shape may look easy but mine were so uneven! Anyway on to the pics.

When I gave it to DD she immediately stuffed it with all the pamphlets she could find (a cell phone booklet and tourist info thingys) and happy meal toys. Smiley

WOW! You did a great job on this bag. I just printed out the pattern for it last night, hoping to get it done sometime this weekend.  Cheesy Love your choice of fabrics, too.
