My boys and my niece always share a family b-day dinner celebration and it's Saturday. So I made her some fun kimono style jammies. She is a sassy little thing and we thought these would suit her flashy sense of style.  I have four highly opinionated children and they all helped pick out the fabrics, took about an hour, one of my 9 yo boys was very upset that we didn't go with a zebra stripe for the pants.  Do you think we should have listened to him?

I had to pay one of my boys to get the action shot and swear that his face would not be in the pic.  I'm lucky he didn't require a blood oath.

Any way it was a fun project and very easy.  I used this tute http://habitual.files.wordpress.com/2008/09/habitual_simplekimonov2.pdffor the top and an old pants pattern I had laying around.  Here are the pics tell me what you think, Thanks.

Super cute! I love the pink fabric with all the little dresses...... But I think you boy could be the next great fashion designer.... Zebra pants would have been adorable!

I snuck a peek at Craftster while sitting in my quiet little office.  This - and imagining your poor boy dressing in the pink sassy jammies - made me laugh so hard, though, I wonder what people must have thought...

So cute. Great job. Where did you find the pink fabric?  Does it have little black dresses all over it? It's so cute.

Oh my those are sooo stinkin' cute. I think that is something I am going to have to work on for my daughters for the winter months in flannel fabrics.
