I came across a pretty bland-looking pj top at the thrift store and at first glace didn't think much of it. But my little girl thought it was 'pretty!' so I decided to buy it for her. Originally I had decided to try and make a skirt for her, but after ripping 80% of the shirt apart I decided to try and make a dress. I used the collar to make the sleeves, and the purple bias tape was sitting in my fabric stash, so the final cost for her 'pretty for me!' dress was 35 cents. Grin
