As ghetto as all this looks, it's probably one of the most fun things I've made in a while.

My local pub is having a fundraiser for the local University Radio Station (CKDU) and some local charities. Part of the event is to have the DJ's dressed in 'Skag Drag'....picture Drag queens with facial hair and REALLY BAD CLOTHES....it's all for chairty.

The winner gets the title of 'MZ. 88.1 FM' and gets to wear the tackiest, yet most proper of headgear....this crown made of beer caps and love.....and shame...lol.

Here's the Crown...

Here's the Sceptre (modelled by the lovely Sheldon...)

and together....

they're all held togfether with tnesion from bending them into each other and a bit of glue to keep columns and rows together...

Thanks!  But I fear that I'll be doing the 2.0 version today.  Undecided

Last night at the pub, beer, overzealous people,  gravity and concrete floors all combined to a disastrous event. Well, not entirely disastrous, but the spires broke off and the crown is bent kinda awkward on one side.....so, all things considered, it held up well.

But, what a better way to spend a rainy day....any reason to stay inside and build and craft, eh?

...but I'm preaching to the choir....  Wink
