Made for a friend! I made his button eyes out of sculpey. The yarn is Vanna's Choice--I went with acrylic because my friend has allergies and I'm too poor to buy nicer yarn!

I think he turned out pretty cute! The pattern was from the book Mr. Funky's Super Crochet Wonderful, which is one of my favorite pattern books.

Sometimes you just HAVE to go with the cheaper yarn, you have no choice!  The other day I was at Joann's and they had that vanna yarn for $1.50.  I grabbed a bunch to try it out and at the register it was only $.80 a skein!!!!

It's not bad yarn either.  There are some really nice colors at least!

Thanks everyone!  Grin

And BabyMarie, I do really like the Vanna's Choice. It's pretty soft and the colors are pretty and unusual, and they coordinate! It's the only acrylic I can stand to use.

The city would be prettier covered in yarn...

great job! I am really digging on those eyes. How did you attach them? I've never worked with sculpey really, but it seems like a great alternative to buttons/thread/felt.
