This is not only my very first doll, but my very first commission! (sort of) My friend's girlfriend really loves the kodamas from princess mononoke, and my friend asked me if i would make him a doll of one for him to give to her as a gift.  so i did! and i am surprised at how good it turned out.  It's made out of felt, and i got the tutorial from here---> http://www.members.shaw.ca/plushie/ufoplush/
(i had to blow the pattern up a bit though)
anyways, here it is, hanging out with the featherweight that helped build it:

woo! thanks guys! it is very squishable, and it's going to be so hard to give away. (seriously i've been carrying him around the house with me Tongue)
and yes, anime dolls are pretty pricy, which is why i think my friend asked me to make him one. go figure.
