I'll echo everyone else. Beautiful work. I really wish I had more time to sew over the summer. Now of course school is back in session and I have no time to sew for myself.. Bummer.. Smiley Love the last outfit in particular.

I'm jealous of your talents..My grandmother used to sew all the time.  Sadly, she passed before I ever really got around to asking her to teach me properly, and it's been ages since I used a machine.  I couldn't tell you bobbin from needle right about now. XD  Although I do know your sister's struggles, my mother being a photography major.  Except for me, it's usually 'I was hoping you wouldn't mind waking up at 6 AM tomorrow and forsaking all your plans so you could do a 5-hour photo-shoot for me?  *grumbles*

Considering I live in NYC, I should be more proactive on my crafting..darn college budgets!  Although I'm definitely inspired to try to pick up another needle.

Such beautiful work!  All of it is stunning and the colors all fit.

I was going to say what fun your sister must be to sew for, she's adorable, but then I saw you!  You're both beautiful, and you have talent!

I would buy your work, from a boutique in town, or at the Faire!

Huzzah for the historical authenticity in the dresses, that is important!  And you're courageous for doing that, and for taking the steps to go it alone!  I agree, you don't need to spend 3 more years in class, you're wayyy ready!

Great stuff, thanks for sharing!

Wow, all of those are simply gorgeous. You have a great eye for design and putting fabrics together. I can't pick a favorite. Do you mind if I snag a few of the pics from this thread to add to my "inspiration file"? Your work is stunning Smiley.

Stop being so damned positive. Staring at the sun only blinds some one. By only looking at the positive, you miss an entire beautiful world of shadows and colors. Don't be overly negative, be realistic. The world is so much more complex and beautiful that way.
