Finally started sewing fleece. Now I don't know why I waited so long!  Roll Eyes

The cheeky monkey came from England - so I've had it over a year. Weather's getting cooler here and I thought tyke could use a bum warmer.  Cheesy (yes, it's waaaayyyyyy too early for me)

Anyway. Super simple skirt: rectangle, serge up one seam, around the bottom, add the elastic. Ta Da! Added the applique to the very stained shirt and saved a great tee from the rag bag.

That's not a stick, it's a scepter...tyke is leading the Wild Things parade.  Cheesy

I also made a scarf -- yes, really, with thermal fabric on the other side, and a couple of cute hats. Loving the cheeky monkeys!

Adorable!  Again with the serger, though.  Why do you keep torturing me???   Cheesy  Cheesy  I've dropped more than a few hints around here lately, so I'm crossing my fingers that good old Santa might send one my way this year.   Wink

I have those EXACT fleece monkeys, but on a green background, on a pair of store bought pj pants from Aeropostale.

Its so cute on a children's skirt and shirt combo! (thinking of ways to recon my jammies...lol)

My theory is: Hints are like dirty socks....if you drop a one, no one else will pick it up. I just wrote down the address/phone number of the store, along with the model number and price - then gave that paper to my loving husband. Magically, I got what I wanted!  Grin
