I like #4, what pattern is on the fabric on the front? It looks cute, nice and purple!

Ohh, I love all of them. Especially the messenger bag. Did you use the messenger bag with gusset tutorial on here? Does it even have a gusset? Haha. Can't tell.

The fifth bag is awesome! I've been searching and searching for a tutorial that explains how to make one simply. I really, really want to make a messenger bag.

Where'd you get the tut to do it? Cheesy

Thanks so much u guys!!

umm, the messenger bag is pretty much a big version of the jordy bag. All I did to change it was cut out another 2 squares (this square is the width of the bottom of the original square after u have cut out the corners. dont know if that makes sense!) sew it together and turn it the right way in and then when u are putting together the bag, place the flap in the back position between the outer and inner fabric (just like u do for the strap). then sew around the top seam like the jordy tutorial. i seriously dont think that made sense??

ok, so if i sound like im dumbing it down its because im having trouble explaining it  hehe.

so, u have the two extra squares, which will end up being ur flap. place right sides together and sew three of the edges and then turn in the right way. now, u have the right sides of ur bag facing in and the strap is pinned on either seams. choose which way is the back of ur bag and then pin the flap just like the straps but in the middle of the back section. then, place the facing inside the bag, right sides towards the straps/flap/right side of the outer fabric. then sew around the edge. i left an opening there instead of leaving one of the bottom corners like in the jordy pattern.

i hope that one makes more sense Tongue

Ohhhhhhhhhhh. Haha. I'm so dumb. I thought you were saying the second set of squares were supposed to be the same size as the little squares you cut out of the bottom of the bag. I was wondering why you'd need two extra small squares.
Hahaha. So sorry. Tongue
