I made these a couple of months ago, and tho theyre not great (they look rather odd, i doubt anyone else would want them) , to me they are awsome!
Tho ive done loads of sewing other things these are the first pair of shorts (or trousers) i have made, so i havnt done a crotch or zipper like this before, my mum always put me off saying it was really tricky. I didnt use a pattern, just kinda coppied what i saw of another pair of shorts i have. but made them longer, and out of green courdroy, and trimmed with vintage purple floral fabric!! i just saw them fabrics together on my mountain of fabric which is slowing taking over my bedroom, and thought, i need shorts lilke this!

The reason they are my 'WWOOFing shorts' is because I went WWOOFing in spain this summer.. I dnt want to turn this into an advert, but its basically Willing Workers On Organic Farms, its a worldwide organisation, and you work for bed and meals, usually gardening or farm work, ( in great places, with great people )...GOOGLE it!! (or pm me Smiley if your interested.

Im afraid these are the only pics i have of the shorts. The button is coverd in the same floral fabric, and  they fit really well. tho i suppose you would call them callots (how do you spell that? cullots? lol Cheesy ), tho they arent really very baggy. I wouldnt wear them in town really, theyre a bit strange Tongue. hope you like!!
