Hi! I am moving near Utica this weekend and I was wondering are there any good places to get supplies, like little shops only locals really know about? We will be moving to Boonville so it would be nice to know if there are any places there as well. But since I will be travelling to Utica for work places there too would be greatly appreciated.

How about good restaurants? My boyfriend and I are lovers of food, and would appreciate any good place to eat. Also if you can recommend good sushi places we would love it!

I would appreciate anything you guys can share. Upcoming events, crafting groups, anything!

Thanks in advance!!

Welcome to the Utica area!

I'm not into sushi, but there are a couple of places here:  Geisha on Bank Place in Utica (GREAT ginger ice cream too!) and the Mitsuba in the Orchard off route 840.  There's also supposed t be a new one opening up near KMart.

There are tons of great restaurants in town... and all kinds of foods!

Craft-wise, the AC Moore right on route 8 just north of Utica is closing down and everything is marked down.  I haven't been there this week, so I don't know how much they have left.

I've tried getting a crafting group going near MVCC, but it's been very inconsistent.  Maybe as we start hibernating again, we'll try that again.

again, welcome!

A crafting group would be great to get together. I am going to be new to the area, would be great to meet some people who have similar interests!

BTW, thanks for the restaurant info I really appreciate it. I am a huge fan of food, so it's always nice to know there are good restaurants.
