Just popping in here. Wow great swaps! I, too, love the trees, and the poppet,

the huge bib is so cute and the curl cap.

Wow so many pages! So many great things made in this gallery. You all did outstanding jobs for your partners!

Well my final package made it to my partner just in time, I see we are already picking new dance partners! Yay!

Thanks again Gomerriffic & miss_k! See you next dance!

Sorry I've not gotten the pictures of my package up yet, sewknitter (Cara). My grandmother died on Monday and we just had the funeral yesterday (Thursday). Hopefully I'll have time by the end of the weekend.

i received an awesome package from mimik!  i can't decide which of the shirts i like best, they're all perfect!  we were in a Christmas parade tonight so little man wore the elf shirt...he ran around beforehand showing everyone, "look at my new shirt!  do you love it?  do you want to hug me?"  (which will make more sense when you get to the picture!)
and she had no way of knowing this, but he has been asking santa for a "real space alien" for Christmas, so when i put julian's alien shirt on he was thrilled "it's a real space alien, just like i asked for!"
the board is from my wists and perfect - i adore the fabric!  and i am already using the bag for everything...
thank you so much, mimi, for a great package!
(whoa, i just looked back at this...i'm not usually big on exclamation points, but i guess i went a little crazy with them here.  i really do like everything that much, though.)  (!) Wink

I'm so glad you liked everything...I actually had a few more shirts for the boys but I ruined them while trying to figure out how to add sleeves.  Seriously, I have no idea how people do that!  The hoodie is my first one ever, so that's why it's kind of big and the stitching is not too pretty.  The bag - I should have taken a "before" picture.  I made it out of an a-line skirt that I got at Old Navy for ...16 cents!!!!  I made the handle out of the waistband! Happy holidays!!!!!
And oh my gosh, I just noticed that I left off the Star Wars shirt you sent us...I loved it -I will go hunt it down and take a pic!

well, you would never know it was your first hoodie...i've made them before and actually said to my husband that i wished mine turned out that well.  i will have to post an action shot to show you, but it really is perfect...not too big at all.

i forgot about the star wars shirt, too.  sorry it was off center, i was so worried about trying to keep my lines straight that i seem to have neglected that part.   Undecided
wasn't sure if you were big star wars fans, but i saw the pillow in your wist and thought it might make a cute shirt.  i had to look up the words, and then i realized that all the movies have different ones (okay, probably pretty obvious, but i guess i have never paid much attention) so i just picked the one that sounded like the most fun!  Smiley

A sixteen CENT skirt? damn! I cant even score one for under $7 at the thrift shop!
I love the bag - that skirt had some nice fabric going on!

My kids would fight over that Elf shirt!  As you might imagine, I've seen that movie more times than I can count!  Great package.

Her dirty paws and furry coat,
She ran down the forest slope.
The forest of talking trees,
They used to sing about the birds and the bees.
The bees had declared a war,
The sky wasn't big enough for them all.
