The dusty rose/county blue thing goes back to my childhood as the daughter of an arts & crafts teacher/toll painter in the 80's. We had life-sized geese in our living room wearing bonnets.

*shudder*

Woaw. There is some seriously nice stuff getting posted! I love the birdy!

Le sigh. I know who I'd like to play with in next round...but it feels a bit early to go out and ask - or am I just being silly?

I got a big eyed bird too! I've wanted one of these fellows for ages and he's even more beautiful in person!
Waaaaaaaaa! *throws toys onto the floor*

So, babbetto...yeah, we have to swap!! Mike was admiring the bird too...he loved them when we saw the first ones, and he doesn't generally have an opinion when it comes to art! Cheesy

gingerquilts, that quilt is awesome and so detailed! Truely something to treasure!

hehehe...never too early to ask!  I've actually had a partner lined up for IYP 11 since last April!  She only swaps in the winter, so we've had a really long engagement!

I hate to be a tease and run but I received a great package from batgirl today!  Unfortunately those CHILDREN I spawned have my time planned out for me.  If batgirl had pics to post, I'd appreciate it.  If not, I will share my lovelies at a later date!

Thanks batgirl!

Phizzy, that is so cool that Mike liked them! Makes me all happy!  Grin

Okay, I received my wonderful package today from ARoze, this is so cool!

My wonderful clown shrine! This thing is so chunky, I just love it. Each piece has hinges that hold the sections together and is amazingly well put together.

Close-up of the clown puppets. Painstakingly cut out and attached with strings to the top of each window.

Another one.

One more.

The gorgeous chunky clown book and check out the shrinky clowns and tickets on the fibers...amazing!

One shot of one of the pages. Each pages has a letter and spells out Wonder.

I LOVE it!!
Thanks ARoze!

I'm glad you like it.

Here's a link where you can see pics of all of the book pages, if you're so inclined.
