Wicked sweet house shrine, tote bag...everything! Smiley

And here is the supersweet stuff I got from Amphipodgirl:

A felt needlebook and pincushion... Smiley

Each of the butterfly wings opens up and there are pages for the needles and pockets for special things.  She even included a needle threader and a teensy pair of scissors. Smiley

The pincusion has a sweet flower that was covered with teensy weensy shrinky butterflies.  Then I realized the putterflies are actually handcrafted pinheads!   Smiley

I just love butterflies and will be using these little gems every day I'm sure.

Thanks so much to my talented partner! Smiley

Wow - so many soaps!  You just can't beat homemade soap - they all look beautiful!  I love the pincushion as well.

I saw the shrinky pins in a book and really wanted to try them; this project was the perfect opportunity.  I'm glad you like them!  I didn't know for sure that you were a butterfly fan, but with your love of color it seemed like a pretty safe way to go.  I started out trying some really daring color combos, but just couldn't bring myself to finish the orange-and-purple version of the needlebook... Try as I might, I seem to be a subdued-palette kind of person.

Well you did a great job on everything, and the butterfly pins seem really well done. Smiley  And all the colors are beautiful.

I am terribly late on posting what I received from macreede!  My daughter is loving her suprises and has been wearing them nonstop!

First up, some armwarmers in the blue of her school colors:

And a beautiful bracelet:

Thank you so much, macreede!

Oooo, beautiful!

What is that bracelet made from?  That is fascinating with the purple and metallic accents.

I think she might have used this one:  http://www.crochetme.com/wristables  That's the one she sent me to look at, I don't know if she made any changes or not. Smiley
