ahh... ahhh... ahh... I'm not sure about Walmart...

BUT! I wanted to tell you that Joann's is JUST across the street to the West on 32nd, back behind Pizza Hut!!  That way if they don't have it at "wallyworld" it's not a far detour to check at JoAnns!!  Grin

Also, if you hit up Joanns, they usually have an ad right when you come in the front door for 40% off regular priced items.  Grab the add and save some moola!!

I LOVE Joann's!  One of my main reasons for heading south! I forgot about the 40% off ad!  Thanks!

I'd say go the extra two hours (round trip) and come to Fargo Smiley

Jo-Anns, Hobby Lobby, WalMart, and Mill End Textiles are here! Mill End is best, AMAZING prices and sales and a $.99 remnant bin piled insanely high. Great for quilt backs and layering if nothing else. I worked at JoAnns for a while so I can definately recommend the staff helpfulness now. Hobby Lobby has a smaller range compare to the others in fabrics (including WalMart) but WOW for everything else! It's a HUUUUGE store with an amazing amount of cool stuff for cheap.

And of course, a lot of cool small stores. There's Beads on Broadway downtown with loads of beads, artisan-created focal beads and mass-produced basics. There's Bead Boutique on 13th with bunches of a la carte beads. And the thrift stores with packs of 20 or so zippers for $2.

Can you tell I love living here? My craft bookshelf has become a craft room since I've moved here Smiley LOVE it!

Oh yeah, and sign up online to get e-mail ads for even better coupons than the standards. There tend to be 50% off coupons often... my favorites Smiley
