Okay, so I saw this black and cherries headband on sale for a dollar, and it screamed to me "I wanto be a lolita headband!" So I took it home with me, scrounged around in my box of notions, found some ribbon, some lace, and other things, and got to sewing it up. And here is the final product:

Here's the inside:

and here are the ruffles before I sewed them together. Yes. I hand-made the ruffles. From a ribbon. It shrunk 3 yards of ribbon down to a little less than a yard!

It pricked me a lot wth the pins, too. But it was worth it! Unfortunately, me school has banned me from wearing it because it doesn't coordinate with school colors. (Maroon and White)
Tell me what you think!

Love it. Definitely lolita-esque. Any action shots?

of course! I've documented the process from the beginning, I've just got to upload the files to craftster. It takes forever on my computer.>.< I had to have mi padre take the pictures, and hes not very good with a camera, so one is burrly and the other one has a horrible flash.

here we go!

I'm planninh on making a dress to go with it. The only Lolita dress I've made so far is black and white, and hence, doesn't exactly match >.<
