I finished my sweater and it fits perfect. But that required exteding the arms to 19.5" rather than 17".

Here is what the collar looks like when it is done.

I finally took pictures of my finished Shawl Collared Pullover, too! Too bad my 7-month preggo belly is preventing me from taking a modeled picture...  Cheesy

I made mine with heathered purple Cascade Lana d'Oro, just over 10 skeins.

If anyone out there is still considering making this sweater, I highly recommend it. It's a very well written pattern and is easy to follow. There are more details at my blog.

Ooooh, GoodKarma I LOVE your sweater! It just looks so scrummy and comfortable. Cheesy I have about a million other projects to finish but just seeing this has me itching to go find the pattern and some Lana d'Oro.. Beautiful!

Thanks, nevergirl! I'm sorry to tell you that Lana D'Oro was discontinued a year or two ago, but the pattern is still floating around and I'm sure you can find something that you love. I showed the sweater to my mom yesterday and of course it fits her perfectly (she said she wants "hers" to have longer sleeves... I guess that means she wants me to knit one for her, too?? haha!), so I was all jealous that it fits her bod right now and I'll have to wait until after my baby is born to see if it will fit me as well.  Cheesy

Patience... grr...!
