First off, I love that shade of blue. Gorgeous!
The contrast of white against such a saturated color is very nice. I also adore the scoop back and wish my pattern altering skills were better so I could do something like that with a higher success rate. But, classes and work and many weddings in the next few months are taking up all my time for a while.
I do want to say that I like the skirt part on the yellow one better than the blue. Not that the blue one is bad or anything, it looks great on you, but I like seeing an actual skirt more so than not.
Adorable dresses.

thank you! they're actually a loooot easier than they look - the secret is to work with the stretch of the fabric, especially when doing binding. it took me a while to figure it out, but i can whip these babies out in like 2 hours now Smiley
and the black skirt isn't actually part of the yellow - i made it a little shorter than a dress so it could be worn as a long tunic. i just pulled the skirt on to cover my undies. the blue one IS a dress, though... well... a short dress. but i like short dresses. Wink

thanks, everyone, once again! you are all very sweet!
