Wow, that is really lovely!

Dare I ask, how much weight did the tiles/resin add?  My wife and I have been toying with the idea of applying a mosaic to our coffee table but we worry about being able to move it after we do.  Smiley

I am not sure how much weight it added since I didn't lift it before it was done, but I would venture to guess that it is at least 15 lbs (maybe more). It is still movable  Cheesy I can do it myself... but with an extra person, It is easily transportable. If your coffee table is not too large or heavy to begin with, it probably would not render it immovable.

I did it in two pours. The first, I put tape around the edge and poured it so that the tape kept the resin in. I took off the tape after a few hours of drying. Then, I sanded the edges and did a second pour without tape and let it drip over the edge a little.

I was never that interested in mosiacs until just this second. I'm curious about the resin process i have such bad luck with it, i wish there were resin classes i could take. Undecided great friggin job though really great friggin job especially with two munchkins running around.
