RavingRosemary - I love your descriptions!  They cleverly play off of the literary names of your products.  I think the photos are pretty, but, as has been mentioned before, use all 5 shots (I am guilty of the same thing).  You may also want to think about adding some descriptive words to your titles to help people doing a search.  Ex: The Scarlet Letter - rose, lilac, and freesia soap.  Personally, I don't care for titles like that, but I think I read somewhere that it seemed to work.

Could somebody look at my shop, please?  http://www.etsy.com/shop/moonstaradri  I am really struggling with the descriptions, especially.

Thanks!

I have had my store for a while now but actually stocked it and was wondering what you thought of the overall appearance? Any changes I should make? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Moon--thanks for your review!  I really appreciate it.

Your stuff is freakin' lovely--not just the pieces themselves, but the photos and the names.  Gold stars, all the way.

I'm not sure what trouble you're having with your descriptions.  They include all of the necessary info that I'd want as a buyer.  Maybe you could make them a little more gothy/dark?  I don't know, that sounds dumb.  But.  You know.  Ladies who want to buy fabulous corsets and wine-colored capelets might appreciate something less whimsical than "Summer is officially here."  Think on it.  You know your audience better than I do.

Good luck!  Your stuff is truly beautiful.

Here's my VERY young (less than 2 weeks old) shop.
I'm still adding items but decided to go ahead and list what I've made and have as inventory.
Any feedback or tips would be appreciated!

Thanks vicmes, you have some really cool stuff in your store and your pics look great and interesting! Looks like your shop's doing fine with all the sales you've had! My 3 little sales have been friends and family who were already buying my cards before I had etsy so I don't really count them as new customers lol.

I know that I need a banner but would like more suggestions on the rest of my shop.  I only have about six items right now but would like to hear some opinions

My shop is brand new, and I'm currently selling vintage clothes/accessories/etc., my handmade crochet items and a few photographic prints. I've had one sale so far. Any suggestions/comments/input would be great!!

I know i need a new banner and icon for my shop, and i also know that i need to include measurements for my items, but what about the merchandise i offer? I am not sure if the little monsters i make are very appealing. Please take a look and give me honest feedback about what you think of my shop and what i'm selling. But please be kind and constructive... not mean Smiley
