I want to make this into a cloth book, kind of like a little fairy tale. These are the first two panels. I was hoping that the butterflies would look sort of ghostly and spooky, but I'm not sure if it works. In the second panel, I think only the curtains and butterfly came out well; I don't think my sewing is accurate enough to do straight lines. Feedback would be appreciated.

I think it is fab and the butterflies do look magical/spooky since they are done in silverish thread.  I like how the shutters are pushed out, too.  How many more panels do you plan on making to tell your story?

That is beautiful, and I think you achieved the ghostlike effect.

Your stitching is lovely and I love your drawings, too. Don't worry about "accuracy".  Straight lines are boring.

Isn't working on black sort of fun?  I think the butterfly does look like a Luna moth on the black fabric... So, I'm dying to find out your technique for creating your artwork on the black fabric... Are you using solvy stabilizer, drawing it directly on the fabric with a white pencil/water soluble pen... DYING TO KNOW your technique... looks great!

Human rights are for EVERYONE.  Did you know that Aung San Suu Kyi had been released from house arrest in Burma? Many other prisoners of conscience are still being detained.  Please research this topic... Amnesty International needs your help.
