I know for me, that was part of the challenge!  I had it set in my mind that a lot of machine embroidery was, uh, not modern or very "conservative"... Wink

I was surprised and glad that Brother allowed us to change colors, rearrange the patterns, etc. It was fun to be able to think of more up-to-date ways of machine embroidering!  I am not knocking anything, just saying that it is up to each person to think of ways to fit your own style and artistic bent...

And, now that the campaign is over, hee hee, we can think of some pretty choice word to be able to embroider... Wink

thanks everyone! i'm trying to think of more things to make that require buttons now!

linda, you could just do your name - mine was too short for a cardigan, I HAD to do my username! Wink

i kinds felt the same way as alwaysinmyroom, that the designs weren't my "style", but you can definitely work around them and update them!

I love these buttons. I've always loved covered buttons, but I prefer the kind with the "teeth". Thanks for the idea. Now if I only had a machine like that...

thanks! the only kind i've found with the "teeth" don't have as much of the rounded shape that i like, and they're no-hammer ones. i have an innate distrust of the no-hammer ones, they always fall apart on me! but i do think that the US has different brands than we do, so maybe you've found some good ones! I love these!! I just recently (like last week) discovered how cute covered buttons look in person! Now maybe I need and embroidery machine to help:)
