Karen you made boring old bottle look fabulous!  Grin

Did you use a bottle slumping mold or did you just stick them in your kiln?

Huh Sometimes typos are too funny...

I was wondering the same thing. I mean if you just stick them in the kiln...

I fixed it. If you think this one was bad....one time I sent out staff meeting minutes that said we were going to the whorehouse instead of warehouse to pick up supplies.

 Shocked

No mold!  They tend to be thicker around the very edges, so I leave them flat.  FULL fuse (12 hours) on these babies.

I have a really cool Parrot Bay bottle slumping right now *hic*...all this booze, I tellya.

Smiley

I live in a tiny, tiny little town...and I have the local bar holding out liquor and wine bottles for me.  I put them in the basket of my bike, and ride home from the corner bar with them clinking all the way down the road.  I'm sure the locals are whispering about that "crazy artist that lives down by the river."

hahaha

PS:  Pinkie...no stinkie here!  (( hugs ))

So does the slow cooking get it all pretty flat and level? Those look so cool. I love that one in the first pic. You shouldn't have any trouble selling them.
Where would the world be without crazy artists? suffering *hic* for our art... Looking forward to seeing more.

sacktown...the verrrrrrrrrry slow fusing keeps the glass annealed properly, I go on the more conservative side of the fusing process with these, since I have no idea what the COE is w/this glass.

Also...amazingly... NO devitrification on these whatsoever...so, I'm pretty happy!

I just pulled a the Parrot Bay bottle out...it's coolio!  I may fuse it yet AGAIN...I have ideas for it!

Thanks so much for the comments!

Thanks for the scoop Karen! I love the imagery of you being the crazy artist down by the river!   Grin

I think I might have to collect tailgate booze bottles and give it a try.  Smiley
