I used:

to make:

my pocket:

i'm just so proud of my rolled hems, lol!

I still need to hem the ends of the straps after I decide what length I want them to be and I also need to add the little loops to the straps for the knots to hold the sleeping cover in place.

aw thanks!  i never could figure out how to make pleats evenly so I just set my machine on a basting stitch and then pulled the threads to gather it then just stitched over it. . .  shh, it's our secret, lol.  Smiley

i have had the cat fabric for over 10 years.  I bought a chair from a shop in Virginia (a Sam Moore queen anne style chair - with that fabric on it - ('socks' was the name of the fabric - at time clinton was in office - his cat was the inspiration for the fabric apparently) - anyways, i bought this fabric because i was worried the chair would wear but the chair is still looking good so i thought i could use the fabric instead of letting it just stay in a cabinet).

sure did give a long explanation, eh?

Thanks for your positive response, though.  I see lots of mistakes in my stitching - it's a bit crooked if you look real close - i used a 110/something needle but it was still real thick and the machine didn't like it over the really thick parts. . . but it persevered thru.
