And it's so utterly altruistic to sew clothes for someone else (i.e. not yourself).
Apart from a few bags and aprons (makes a nice present when you're broke) here and there i don't think i ever sewed something for anybody but myself.
So apart from being proud you also get to be smug!
Thanks! I love making things for others, it's nice to see some validation in that regard because when I told my sister (she also sews) about making pants for him she said "that's stupid"

How does he like them? I assume since he modeled them for the pics that he is happy with them. Has he worn them out of the house? I think they are fantastic and I would never be brave enough to attempt pants for a man.
He seems to be quite pleased with them, he had a lot of input while I was making them so he better be happy with them, lol. He hasn't worn them out yet, but to be fair he hasn't had an opportunity to yet. Though I have to say I can totally understand the "boyfriend sweater curse" now, cause if he never wears those pants I will not be happy, heh.
