What a creative solution! I love it! I have the same problem w/ my LazyBoy but the culprit was a cat.  I might have to try this!

What an excellent idea!!!  I would never have thought of that (the best I would have been able to come up with would be a throw rug LOL).  Definitely going to have to try this one myself...now where's that dog.......

We have similar pups! Baloney is the red one and Sissy is the blondie. They are twins.  We thought they were labs at first, but now we think they are lab/spitz mix.  We'll never know for sure! But, boy do we love them!!

Cute fix on your couch! I know alllllll about chewed up furniture...and shoes....and books....and blankets....etc.

Sissy chewed the upholstery off our bedroom recliner along with some of the wood structure, so that had to go straight to the dump. Unrepairable. All 4 of our puppies had a chew on the couch...they totally ripped off the ruffle around the bottom and started chewing on the legs! That also had to go bye-bye.  Everything in our house has teeth marks.  Not to mention all the other things they have destroyed over the years...yikes!

I think it looks great! I'm about to start reapiring my own dog destroyed sofa. I'm going to make lose cushions. I don't see many other options....
