I never would have thought to do that. That is incredibly clever of you. Looks like you did that just because.
What a cute little culprit. Gotta love the critters anyway...  Grin

That is such a great idea for such a terrible problem! Did you have those pillows before the accident, or did you make them to accentuate your new design? It looks pretty cool

This was very resourceful of you, and I'm really impressed!

hey, thanks everyone!  Your comments are all so kind and encouraging.

Regarding the dog, his name is Bosley and he's a pound puppy.  Not even our vet is sure what kind of dog he is but the best guess so far has been a mix between a daschund, a beagle and a cardigan corgi and maybe something else.

The tiles are actually cardboard 10"x10" squares that I covered in aluminum foil and stuck on to my wall with command strips.

The pillows are a find from Target that were too cute to pass up and if you look really closely you might fan make out a branch pattern behind the birds which is what I tried to emulate with the felt on my couch.

And yes, it was impossible to stay mad at him...but I think he knows it.  Oh yeah, and feel free to use this idea if you want; I had kind of wanted to do this to my couch before, but couldn't reconcile doing someting that permanent to a perfectly fine and new sofa...so I definitely am thanking Bosley!
