DragonEyze: you're not behind...because if you are, then so am I! Actually, like CaterpillarPeacock, I have it all planned...took forever to narrow down!!!, and have the supplies - some are even laid out...and I am home, carless, with a lazy (today anyway) 3 year old, all day...so we can craft together! And tonight after he goes to bed, I can actually get some of it done  Grin

I finally finished a non swap related quilt top and now I can get back to crafting for this swap.  I'm working on a medium, but the idea is not quite in crafting form yet.  I'm sure it will come to me though.   Grin

Quilts are daunting. I did a quilted pillow once, but...

I'll stick to knitting intricate lace shawls.

Smiley

I now have all the supplies I need, and this weekend the DH is away, so I can dedicate myself to crafting goodness.

Can I just say, I get so excited whenever I click on my bookmarks page and my partner has posted?  It gives me giggles.  Smiley

My grandma taught me to quilt, so I have lots of fond memories whenever I do it.  Plus, it's lots of fun and I get to be all nice and warm afterwords and sometimes in the middle.  Smiley

I still have relatives here, but tomorrow my Mom and I are stealing my aunt to go thrifting at our two favorite thrift stores, so I'm hoping to find something fabulous that I, or a partner, will love.  Last time I went to one of the stores, I found a silk sari that I have plans to make my first dress out of.  Hopefully this time I'll find something just as shiny.

Woooooooooo! I've finally finished taking out all my dreadlocks. It only took like two weeks. Now my hair is all frizzy/curly and NORMAL. Odd.

In crafting news now that I have my hands free again I've been busy working away on my large because I really want to get it done before I start on the smalls because they will depend on how much time I have left.

I also hope that my hospitalized partner is doing okay Cheesy

Good news caterpillarpeacock! I was released today! I'm on some fun medications and having to do breathing treatments but I'm alive and my representative went to the craft store for me today.  Grin
