I forgot to ask in my first reply if this is your own pattern or a purchased one? I love the fact that it ties at the neck and you don't have to mess with buttons.

I'm partial to the side that reminds me of European embroidery work. It is a lovely dress and shows off your talent well.

Wow, it is utterly gorgeous. I adore both sides. I love the fact that it is reversible, perfect for kids. I am trying to source reversible kids patterns now for my little boy he is such a mucky pup LOL

Cheesy I'm blushing from all of your comments!

The good thing about the dress being reversible... my daughter wore it to church today (first time she's worn it.) Well we decided to get there early to get a good seat (a padded bench- I hate it when we have to sit in "overflow" on chairs. The kids can be so loud on gym flooring) So we get there 10 minutes early and of course the kids can't sit still and start monkeying around. Well my daughter slipped off the bench and hit the hymn book holder from the bench in front of her. She split her lip open and there's blood gushing everywhere! She got some on dad, some on mom, and some - on the back skirt portion (how'd it get there? that's a good question) of her brand new dress - pink side of course!! Not too much though so hopefully it will wash out. Well all I had to do was whip it inside out! Once she stopped bleeding that is!  So now my little princess has a big fat lip - again. I think this is her 3rd fat lip!

oh no! and i know Exactly how that goes. my little girl has perma-bruise on one spot on her forehead, as soon as it starts to fade she clocks herself again in the same darn spot.
blood comes out with handsoap and cold water (scrub by hand and wash as usual), warm will make it set just in case you don't know!
