I won!! My weeklong battle to create a reversible dress. Images galore.

I can't decide which side I like more! My daughter looks adorable in this dress.

It took me all week from "dreaming about it" to working on the pattern, to sewing the flippin' thing together. 
And I only had to use my seam ripper a couple of times. It really should only take me a couple of hours the next time I make one.

Side 1:

I love the black trim on this side. I think it gives the dress a retro look.




Side 2:

I saw this fabric at the store and thought about it and passed it up. I was about to leave when I went back for it. At first I thought it was too busy, but it has grown on me and now I love it!

That is absolutely so adorable and so smart.  I have been trying to figure out how to make a shirt that's not only reversible but where you can change the sleeves, front/back panels, collar, and cuffs.  I've seen them on movies like LOTR, and I saw it once on a sewing show.  One day I'll figure out how to do it, maybe you can with how creative you are.  I always thought that would be such a creative way to have a wardrobe.
