Hi,

I am learning to sew, and this is what I came up with as a first project which I can actually use. The fabric was love at first sight, so I had to do it right. It took me a while to make this, especially because I am usually the opposite of precise, but with this beautiful fabric I wanted to make it tidy and nice.
I used a couple of tutorials and mixed them with my own ideas of practicality and efficiency. Also I omitted stuff that I had to go out and buy materials for, so I could start and finish it in one day/night.

I like it so far (actually I am quite proud of my first sewing project), but maybe it needs a string after all, to bind it together when it's rolled up.

That turned out so good! I love the colors of the fabrics together.
