So my big plans for crafting this weekend have fell short. I have spend the time hangin' out with my husband. He's leaving this week - traveling for work. We have watched a couple of movies, cooked some great food and played with our LO. It's been great. I'm back on it tomorrow morning though.

aww, that sounds fun!  family first Smiley

besides, we still have a few weeks...

Good for you Feelix.  I made one more project for you today.  I really love it I think I will make another for my good friend we are going Christmas shopping together next weekend.  When I finished yours I knew she would love it too.  I think I will make myself one too.  I have several maore ideas for you but I am not so sure I can fit everything in the box.  I am going to try though.

We had snow this morning!  It would have been exciting...except that one of our furnaces is not working (yeah, my house has 2 furnaces...it is a really weird house!) and it is the one with the bedrooms and one bathroom...I've been a little freaked out, hoping that the pipes haven't frozen!  I put our little portable heater in the bathroom...I hope that works!

On lovely crafting news...I'm now about 3/4 done with my last large for murbeck...really hoping to get it done tonight...then I'll be seeing if I can stuff anything else into that box...(I'm hoping that the large is smoosy enough that I can fit a couple more tiny things in there!)

oh man!  when we first got married we lived in a really beater of a trailer in NC and we bought our first dog while living there and we weren't allowed to have pets, so when winter came along and our heater wouldn't work we didn't call the landlord right away because of Pixie (the dog) so we went without for like 2 or 3 weeks and it was COOOOOLD, like we were laying in bed and watching our breath cold, lol.  So we bought a space heater and it was cheap and sucked, so we returned it and got something slightly better and we had our first nice toasty night with it next to us and then when we were laying in bed the next morning cuddling we hear a "POP!" and next thing we knew the space heater was on fire!  LOL.  It was easily distinguished but we called the land lord soon after so that we could just have the place properly heated (and we again exchanged the space heater, of course).

Anyway, yay for first snow!!!!  I hope you can enjoy it some too  Smiley

I thought of one more thing I have to make to smoosh in... another trip to the store, lol.  But I HAVE to make it!!!  HAVE TO!   Cheesy

LOL! My son (he's 4) thinks snow means christmas ...lol.  We had snow flurries 2 days ago and he woke up and saw the snow and wanted to know if it was Christmas! lol.

I have discovered there is a big disadvantage to sending early...the suspense is killing me! lol.  I just signed up for a pincushion swap, we recieved partners yesterday and I am already 90% done with it and sendouts aren't until december 1st...there's gotta be something wrong with me.... I did the same thing with the apron swap I am in...had it done and in the mail before the 1st week was up....

Weekly Check-in

Just checking in. Smiley I've still got some more crafting to do/can do before send-outs. But I'm coming along.

Everything is turning out really cool for my partner. Her style isn't like mine [it's actually the complete opposite], so I'm hoping she likes everything I've been making. I'm getting anxious about it. Just because her tastes are the opposite of mine. SO, I'm trying to craft stuff SHE will like...I don't know. *Crosses Fingers* We shall see when she receives?
