So, does anyone else out on Craftster know where I can find a fabric with the Bill of Rights printed on it?  That's what I want to make my cozy out of, and I might make one for my hubby's Sig Sauer, too!

Maybe you could get some printable fabric (or use freezer paper ironed to some fabric and put it through the printer?) and print it out on your own. You would have more control over the look of the fabric... you could highlight certain words using color or bold print...

The choices you make today determine the choices you will have tomorrow.

That is truly amazing!  I *echo*echo* the superb irony of this.  I love the fabric, it's a nice, bright contrast to the Glock!  (and thanks to whomever-sorry, didn't get the name-it was who posted the link to the fabrics!).  Kudos to all my not-scary-fellow-American women out there for packing iron (and loving it).  Even if we'll never shoot at anything we can drag home to feed the kiddies, it's just as enjoyable as shooting a bow!  Grin

I'll have to ask my hubby if we can make pretty our guns & rifles..and maybe even the bows!  Wink

will do personal swaps, please.  i have tons of fabrics..you have?? wanna trade?

Whoa, I found a fabric at a thrift store a month or so ago with that exact logo on it (but a different print). NO idea what I'm going to do with it (no glock to cozy, I'm afraid), but it is pretty hilarious.

That is some beautiful irony.  I especially like the fabric you chose.

This is TOO funny!  Great creative mind!  I did not realize how much my hubby has influenced my thinking until I saw this pic.  Before I married him, I had never shot a gun, didnt own a permit and had never really given guns a second thought, but now 7 years later, armed and with a permit, I saw the pic and I first thought "oh no, that gun is no good if the clip is not in it"...then I thought it'd be nice if you added a pocket on the cosy for storing an EXTRA clip (for reloading in an emergency)...LOL...AND I worried about the color of the rick rack making folks tease you on the range (as if they wouldnt mind that it is rick rack, just the color would bother them)...I'm so SILLY!!!...but seriously, I think it's TOTALLY CUTE!!!  I've thought about designing my own holster and carving a design out of the leather, but I'd never thought of making one out of fabric until now!  You've really made the "wheels start to turn"!!!

Thanks so much for sharing your creativity in this challenge!
