How funny--I saw that post a few days ago, too, and started two scarves in that pattern!  Looks great!  Maybe we should start at Queen Anne's lace scarf-along!

Your scarf looks gorgeous!
I'm in love with this pattern too.
Since I made the first one.. I've made 3 more.
I've also found a miniture version of this pattern used to make a bookmark.. I may have
a go at that one later.

Ooh, let me know if your bookmark pattern turns out. I found one for bookmarks, and I can't make sense of it for one of the (vital) steps.  I am making bookmarks for some folks as add-ons for Christmas gifts, so I am searching for cool crochet bookmarks . . .

My scarves are taking longer than 2 hours (sniff, sniff) because I have too many crochet projects! But I can't wait to post the finished product.  Thanks, Cristi, for finding the pattern and sharing with us (thanks to craftyboy, too, I guess!).

I am having such a hard time with this for some reason. It just ends up being this huge jumbled mess and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Sad

I found it difficult to get started, for some reason.  Somehow the turning you have to do makes it a bit complicated.  Is that what is making it difficult for you?

Once you get the first few fan motifs going, then it makes more sense and is pretty simple.  I've made two so far, with the hardest part getting the darn thing started.

Maybe if you post a picture of your work, we can see what is going wrong and offer more specific advice. :-)
